- 1-day activity "Creating an Immigration Law Timeline" for 8th grade students to work on in pairs
- Bar graphs and line graphs on stimulating topics from the research of Rice University's Dr. Stephen Klineberg. Dr. Klineberg presented his research in June 2005 at "Gateway on the Gulf: Galveston and American Immigration 1845-1915," an institute for Texas teachers organized by Humanities Texas and the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum with other partners, including the Institute of Texan Cultures.
