Texas Trails and Tales

June 23 –August 1, 2009
Back 40

What was life really like for the earliest pioneers in Texas? Come see for yourself! Texas Trails and Tales brings early 19th century Texas to life with traditional costumes and character performers. Use homemade soap to wash clothes in the log house. Attend class in our one-room schoolhouse. Try roping! Even enlist in the Cavalry! Your whole family will enjoy this event. Next summer, don't just read about Texas history—live it—at UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures!
