The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures invites you to the opening reception for Fertility, Blessings, and Protection: Cultures of Baby Carriers

Friday, October 11, 2019, 6-8 p.m.

Explores the artistic tradition of baby carriers from Taiwan and other Asian indigenous cultures, and highlights the universal commonality of the love, affection, and devotion of parenthood.

This exhibit has been made possible by the National Museum of Prehistory, Taiwan, the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Houston, the Taiwan Academy, Houston, and the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan.
