Shows at the Institute of Texan Cultures

Shows at the museum's Dome Show Theater and the Bluebonnet Puppet Theater are included in the price of admission.

Dome Show Theater

The museum's Dome Show Theater is a one-of-a-kind attraction. Showcasing 26 giant screens in a 360-degree theater, guests are surrounded by the light and sound of the museum's feature presentations. Features are shown at least once every two hours. Please inquire at the Exhibit Floor desk for a list of show times on the day you visit the museum.

Now Showing: Texans One and All
Texans One and All asks the question, "What do you think of when you think of Texas?" The nine-minute show takes guests across every major geographic area of the state, spans 150 years of Texas history and features popular Texas icons. It's a must-see for every guest!

Bluebonnet Puppet Theater

A delight for younger audiences, these family-friendly puppet shows showcase Texas history and its rich cultural diversity through the use of puppets, props, scenery, music, and audience participation. Please call 210-458-2282 to learn when the show of your choice will come alive next!
