The Institute of Texan Cultures provides a wide range of volunteer opportunities which contributes to the growth and education of San Antonio. Including but not limited to tour guides, office or event assistants, there are many ways for people to share their talents.

Long-term Volunteer Program:
Volunteers who wish to remain active volunteers for an extended period of time may join the Institute of Texan Cultures (ITC) Volunteer Program. These volunteers make a long-term commitment to continuously volunteer in a single or a variety of roles at the Institute of Texan Cultures. The mission of the ITC Volunteer Program is to train and empower dedicated volunteers to lead tours with school field trips, assist with the visitor experience, programs, or with the daily operations of the various departments within the Institute of Texan Cultures. In appreciation for sharing their time and talents, volunteers will have access to a number of benefits not afforded to the general public.
