Customized Curriculum

Educators interested in hosting a classroom museum experience can submit a request form detailing their teaching objectives. This information enables our curator to design a tailor-made curriculum that meets each school’s unique needs. Every visit features our curated demonstration collection of Texas artifacts and, upon request, the expert guidance of our veteran docents.

Engaging Topics

The ITC offers engaging programs on a variety of topics, from Latinx art and Texas history— including Texas colonization, the Texas Revolution, and sharecropping— to the state’s natural landscapes and Indigenous traditions. Students can also explore museum careers and learn how to use objects as primary sources. Each program is tailored to fit your school’s needs, making learning exciting, meaningful, and accessible.
