Paragraphs

For one night only, the UT San Antonio Institute of Texan Cultures will become part of the city's largest celebration of arts and culture.

Join us for Luminaria on Saturday, Nov. 14, and experience the museum after dark as Downtown San Antonio comes alive with art installations, performances and creative experiences. Located in the heart of the Downtown West and Zona Cultural districts, the institute will offer free admission from 5 to 10 p.m., inviting visitors to move between the city's festivities and the museum's exhibits throughout the evening.

Inside the museum, DJ Mars will provide a soundtrack of conjunto and conjunto-inspired music, creating a lively atmosphere as guests explore the exhibit floor at their own pace.

The experience continues outside, where the institute is partnering with Slab Cinema to present a new conjunto-themed projection installation along the Frost Bank Promenade on Houston Street, bringing music, history and visual art together in the heart of downtown.

Whether you're following the lights and performances of Luminaria or discovering the museum for the first time, the evening offers a unique opportunity to enjoy art, music, projection experiences and cultural exhibits, all in one place and all free of charge.
